I've always noticed that users who disagree with a work (Exodus Tyson Punched Out, David Carradine Hangman, etc.,) tend to insult the work either by saying it's one of a few things. 1. Too soon. (And?) 2. Distasteful. (That's a matter of opinion and if it doesn't violate the ToS it has as much a right to exist as any other submission found on this site.) or 3. Just plain out insulting the author/asking why it got on the frontpage. Want to know why? (No, it's not because they bribed people.) It's because it's something that gets a lot of page-hits and views and reviews, for better or worse. Acknowledging the submission does it more good than harm. After it passes the auto-deletion phase, the only way for a submission to be deleted after that point is if it is in violation in some way or another. So do yourself a favor, people of Newgrounds. Stop complaining and just move on with your life. You're not doing much when you whine about how something did this or that. Any publicity, negative or positive, generates more views. So stop whining so much about how the "quality of flash animation is deteriorating" or how "users don't have good taste anymore." A view is a view and it adds up if it catches the eye or people recommend it. Shrug, move on, and help submissions you like do better. It's not rocket surgery.
